Renewable energy project development
About Us
Circle Power takes a community-focused approach to developing renewable energy projects that make smart use of land and deliver meaningful benefits to our local partners.
Our Core Values
Community-Focused Development
Circle Power believes that communities should receive meaningful benefits from hosting renewable energy projects. We also believe that projects should be designed around the unique characteristics of the site and community.
Accordingly, we invest time in our partner communities, attend local meetings, and engage with stakeholders to understand their priorities. While every project is different, our commitment to showing up, listening, and adapting remains the same.
Quality and Integrity in Every Project
We prioritize quality over quantity, focusing on developing exceptional projects rather than rapid expansion. Our small, dedicated team is involved in every project, ensuring careful attention to detail.
Additionally, we work with best-in-class industry partners to evaluate, design, and construct our projects. We build long-term partnerships based on honesty and integrity and recognize that creating shared success is good business.
Environmental Stewardship and the Smart Use of Land
We are committed to responsible development that respects and enhances the environment. We believe in making smart use of non-traditional sites by repurposing brownfield and disturbed lands and co-locating our projects with existing infrastructure.
Our projects generate clean energy and contribute to the sustainable use of land, demonstrating our dedication to environmental stewardship.
Groveland Mine Solar
PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
Located in Dickinson County, Michigan, Groveland Mine Solar is an economic development opportunity for the region that will provide new revenue to local governments and create construction jobs. Solar arrays will be sited entirely on lands impacted by the former Groveland iron ore mine, which operated from the early 1950s to 1981.
